When We Are Closed

If you need a doctor or medical advice outside of normal surgery times, NHS 111 can provide this service for you.

Calls to NHS 111 are FREE from both landlines and mobile phones and the service is available 24 hours a day 365 days a year.

Calls to the NHS 111 service are handled by a team of highly trained call advisors, supported by experienced Clinicians, who will assess the callers’ needs and determine the most appropriate course of action. This may include ambulance dispatch, referral to a service within the NHS, referral to an alternative service or reassurance and information including self-help.

NHS 111 Online

111 online is a fast and convenient alternative to the 111 phone service and provides an option for people who want to access 111 digitally.

Your needs will be assessed and you will be given advice about whether you need:

  • Treat yourself at home
  • Go to a Primary Care Centre

If you need face to face medical attention you may be asked to attend a Primary Care Centre.
